About
Y. Kerdiles received his PhD in immuno-virology from the École normale supérieure in 2006, where he studied the immunomodulatory properties of viral proteins. Between 2006 and 2009, he continued his research at the University of California, San Diego, in the laboratory of Prof. Stephen Hedrick, working on the fundamental mechanisms regulating T lymphocyte physiology (homeostasis, tolerance, and differentiation). In 2010, he joined Prof. Éric Vivier's laboratory at the Centre d'Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML) to focus on the study of NK cell biology, before being appointed a research fellow at the CNRS in 2011. Since 2021, he has been developing his research within Serge Van de Pavert's team at CIML, focusing on the early stages of NK and ILC1 cell ontogeny. His expertise covers molecular and cellular immunology, with a particular focus on lymphoid cell development. He is also a member of the steering committee of the CIML Flow Cytometry Platform and the Animal Welfare Structure.
