About
A graduate of Polytech Marseille (2009) as a Biological Engineer and a PhD in Microbiology (2013), I began my career at DSM Nutritional Products, where I worked on third-generation probiotics. I then completed a thesis within Philippe Langella's team (2010-2013, INRAE, MICALIS), focusing on the role of primary colonizing bacteria in the maturation of the colonic epithelium. My postdoctoral career took me to the Institut Pasteur (2013-2016, Philippe Sansonetti's team, Paris), where I integrated the dimension of malnutrition into the study of the intestinal microbiota, then to the Marseille Luminy Immunology Center (2016-2023, Jean-Pierre Gorvel's team), where I acquired expertise in mucosal immunity. Recruited by the CNRS in 2019 as a research fellow, I currently develop projects at the interface between nutrition, intestinal microbiota, and enteropathies. My work focuses in particular on the early effects of malnutrition on physiology, metabolism, microbiota, and immunity. I also explore the role of sexual dimorphism in the response to vaccine and probiotic interventions.
