About
Currently post-doc in Sophie Ugolini’s laboratory, Ferdinand works on bridging different topics in the laboratory. He aims at linking S.Ugolini’s work on skin neuroimmunity with the brain perception of pain and pleasure.
Ferdinand performed his PhD in Gérard Eberl’s laboratory in Pasteur institute, working on the role cytokines on brain stress responses. He then explored science popularization by writing a book entitled “Voyage au coeur de nos cellules”. In the future, he wishes to work concomitantly on neuroimmunology research and transmission of knowledge to non-scientists.
