? Highlights from the 20th CIML PhD Workshop! ?
The CIML is proud to support the next generation of scientists, and the 20th CIML PhD Workshop, held on June 23–24, was a wonderful illustration of this commitment. Over two inspiring days, PhD students, invited speakers, and international guests came together to share their research, exchange ideas, and strengthen scientific collaborations.
A huge congratulations to our third-year PhD students for organizing such a successful and engaging event!
? Congratulations to our PhD students:
- First-year PhD students for the outstanding quality of their posters and their professional poster presentations.
- Second-year PhD students for delivering engaging, insightful, and thought-provoking oral presentations.
? Special congratulations to Anissa Opettit, winner of the Audience Choice Award for Best Oral Presentation, and Merel Sijbranda, recipient of the Jury Prize for Best Oral Presentation.
This year’s workshop was further enriched by the participation of international PhD students. We were delighted to welcome Merel Sijbranda and Lucille Margerie from the Karolinska Institutet, as well as Tom Lasalle and Sarah Lanereticker from Harvard Medical School. Thank you for the stimulating scientific discussions, your enthusiasm, and the new connections we built together.
A special thank you to Marjorie Cayatte, Lucas Brémond, Noémie Quinson, and Emily Milad Aziz Lawendy for warmly welcoming our international guests and helping make their stay such a positive experience. ?
We also extend our sincere thanks to our guest speakers:
- Thibault Frachon (Beckman Coulter)
- Carla Cano (ImCheck)
Thank you for sharing your career journeys, valuable advice, and inspiring perspectives on opportunities beyond academia.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this 20th edition such a success.
We are already looking forward to the 21st CIML PhD Workshop! ?
