À propos

Les cellules stromales sont des cellules de tissu conjonctif présentes dans tous nos organes. Au sein des organes lymphoïdes tels que les ganglions lymphatiques, elles constituent un support migratoire et nourricier pour les leucocytes. Dans les organes non lymphoïdes, elles sont surtout connues pour soutenir la fonction des cellules parenchymateuses. Cependant, de nombreuses évidences suggèrent que les cellules stromales contrôlent également l’homéostasie des cellules immunitaires résidant dans les tissus, comme les macrophages.

Notre laboratoire étudie les fonctions immunorégulatrices des cellules stromales dans les organes lymphoïdes et le dialogue entre les cellule stromales et les macrophages dans les organes non lymphoïdes.
